Re: Jug lines
Not really 100% sure but will tell ya that there are plenty catfish to be caught using juglines.T-Funky is certainly a gem of a gem and I love fishing her, especially when we have strong winds not allowing safe fishing in the Lake. Most folks bait their juglines with small perch and older son gave a suggestion,Ivory soap, guess the catfish can't resist dat ole-time soap.Good luck with ya jug lines.Get snagged on plenty of submerged trot lines that probably have not been attended in years.Think lotta folks set out their jug lines and check em same day, probably good idea!

You can fish as many as you want but stay with them. If you leave them out there anybody can run them from what wildlife is telling me . And also a lot of people are getting their lines cut too by other people.

Learned very valuable lesson-DO NOT leave minnow trap overnight!!!Years ago accidentally forgot to pick up nice minnow trap I set out by S side of Mandeville Harbor, small yak, sailboat launch and next day, gone pecan.Too bad the person who stole it did not just empty contents and toss it back to catch more 'minners'!!!Guess same thing applies to T-Funky jug lines-do not leave em overnight!!Have seen lot more boating/fishing traffic on beautiful T-Funky and guess with schools being shut down til Fall and folks obeying stay at home orders, lotta folks rightfully partaking in beauty and bounty of what many consider a Tammany gem,de T-Funky.Hope she clears up a tad and GB3 sent me pic of 4th St Launch from I believe yesterday and de duck weed was incredibly thick, was like that on my last T-Funky trip!If more folks practice courtesy and decency on water, should not present a problem with tremendous increase in boating traffic on T-Funky.
