Last Friday at Shell Beach

Last Friday at Shell beach I had Brian Renshaw, his son Tate, and Chris Talazac on the Blazer Bay. It was Tate’s 10th birthday and a fishing trip is what he wanted. As is typical when Brian books it was forecast to by windy, but at the first stop it was not bad. They managed to put some trout on ice, but before long the gale force Brian winds were on and shut the bite down. From there we ducked into the marsh to find some reds and the guys managed to put together a nice mixed box and had a lot of fun celebrating Tate’s birthday.

I have openings this weekend and next week.

The summer pattern is shaping up and the action will be getting hotter and hotter. Get out of the house and get on the water. No better place to be than in the sun and on the water in these crazy times. Call now to book your trip of a lifetime. Overnight accommodations on the bayou are available.

All fish in the Suzuki powered Blazer Bay 2400 were caught with Campo’s live shrimp under a 4-Horsemen cork on Kast King rods with Penn reels, spooled with Kast King line. All fish removed and boxed with the one and only Jus Grab it Glove.

Capt Rory,Nice red with multi-spots!!Good box of fish and nothing better than a day on de water,NO DOUBT!!Was working on watering huge garden, checked my post and thanks again, was lotta fun basically sight-casting to just about all the reds I caught and on my last trip to Hopedale, water conditions were not the least bit ideal and my fishing buddy knows the interior of Biloxi Marsh and there the water was much better but we still struggled(last Friday)!!Hope to get back down to Hopedale as soon as possible and until then intend to chase grassbed reds on NShore, lotta fun and now dat Spillway closed, water only gonna get better with time and good tidal movements and favorable wind conditions!
