mulletsguisher : Great report, seems like y’all had a very good time out on the water , you can’t catch them all the time but just getting out there and enjoying the great scenery is half the fun of fishing , might try later in week. 🧙‍♂️🎣

De best news I could report,at least for those of us on NShore who fish Lady P is that the salinity MUST be getting up there as I spotted two huge schools of Jack Crevalles, one school musta had 15 Jacks in it and shoulda stopped to video them, they were like a synchronized swimming team, circling the concrete pilings, looking for meals and one lone wolf broke off de pack, charged my Lunker City Shaker and thank God I had high-speed reel to get lure outta harm's way!!Have heard great things about Hopedale, just quite a haul for those of us on NShore and nabbing flounders and thick reds suffices for me!!

Waters in Lower Lake Borgne are cleaning up and looked good hopefully the Lake P will follow quickly we need a pretty good run of no spillway openings the help her get back to what she can be. As far as Reds and Flounder ya won't hear me complain about either, the good thing I did see last trip out was the amount of school trout in Eloi area which should make for good Late Summer/Fall fishing. Waiting on Wizards report to see how he did, Capt Rory hasn't reported a bunch lately either but words out The Beach is on fire!

Mulletsguisher : I haven’t been out yet , waiting for this Ozone & Sahara dust to pass , really not good for the lungs hopefully this week rain will clean it up a bit , probably will be heading back out mid week, luv targeting reds with my favorite wake baits in Hopedale area 🧙‍♂️🎣
