Yes. Doing well about 100 in a couple hours with 18-24 nets. Plenty big ones today.

I just started fishing there......where are you catching crabs? I would love to take my son crabbing next time we are there. Thanks

I normally crab in the back levy canal

I have never seen a crab with a net. Most of them have claws. It's hard to hold a net with claws.

The back levee canal AKA the dyke canal is a pretty good spot. That’s the long straight canal 300 yards before locks on right. Usually you’ll catch better crabs outside the locks. Go thru the second lock which is the guillotine lock in the big wall. Try in bayou b itself just past guillotine or turn right and fish anywhere on right. If you have a depth finder I like to keep nets 6 to 9 ft this time of year. They move out shallows during day to a little deeper water. It doesn’t need to be this spot this is just basic area. In bayou 100 yards north or in ship channel to south west. All good area. Like fishing you need tide movement otherwise it will be slim pickings.
