Made another trip to Bayou Liberty this morning with a good bass fishing buddy of mine John Retif. We got a early start because be knew the rain was coming. The tide was completely out and was actually just starting to come back in by the end of the trip. We worked the grass edges In the main bayou just like my pass few trips. With it being overcast I decided to put on the saltwater assassin curly “salt and pepper†with green tail and was able to put a few in the boat. John was throwing a White 4in Zoom fluke and that was the key. I switched to the white fluke and we had 20 Bass by at 7:15am. There’s a lot of short striking and small bass but it’s nonstop action.
