Thanks,Wiz,like I keep telling folks, pics tell de story and dat fat bass sure was hooked big-time as were the others.Swear by Owner worm hooks, dey like a harpoon!!Headed back tomorrow very tempting to use some 'minners' but goes against my grain!!Got Blades lure attached to fine Lew's baitcaster and also have Rapala skinny minnow attached to ultra-light,same one I caught 5.02 bass on in March.CCAguns and Buddy and I were planning a Hopedale trip but SW winds and probably not best tidal conditions not best of combo's so we gonna try Hopedale next week.Gonna check out Big Branch Marsh hunt permits as Bayoubob advised a major change has taken place-NOW we can hunt til 2:00 pm ad decoys need to be removed by 3 pm!!!Gonna waste even more time out there!!!

Couple things I failed to mention in my initial report.First of all, very cool to spot a mature doe on way down 3 Rivers Rd,how often do ya see deer on ya way to a fishing trip. Now freshwater fishing and on NShore, might happen way more often than ya can imagine.Second cool sighting was HUGE alligator snapper that spotted me scoping him out as he was chowing on thick vegetation(at first could not tell what was making vegetation move)and last cool sighting was that of pair of pet mallards outside a fine T-Funky home.Right after boating second-biggest bass, knew I heard distinctive drake mallard call and did take a few pics of fine greenhead but sun was in my face and did send de Wiz a pic of drake.Hope to nab a few of those fat and extra-delicious sac a lait(first spot was LOADED with slabs, they were way finicky-gonna toss variety of hard plastics at em,hope they cooperate)!!!Favorite thing bout bass/sac a lait fishing,at least for me is use of lures only-NO bait!!
