Went this morning towards Reggio, water was low and dirty, didn’t see any tide movement but went out anyway, headed too the lake noticed a little in coming tide movement, I put on sexy shad wake bait running along grass line hooked 3 reds lost 2 at boat , got that net phobia 😂 , switched over to a rattle trap first cast hooking a shrimp lol nice size, had plenty of dem coming in with tide were jumping in front of trolling motor again, after that it was game on caught 7 reds kept 1 for tonight’s supper letting rest go to fight another day, didn’t see any boats today other than crab fishermen, had plenty of hits but thinking that water was so dirty reds were striking short, finished around 9am before heat started up , was a great day to be out on water . 🧙‍♂️🎣

Sounds like another good trip, Wiz. After spending all weekend on the tractor bushhogging, and the weather report predicting rain by 10am in Reggio (coupled with SW winds at 10knots), we decided to try again down your way next week. Love fishing the rattle trap and anxious to try my old Rattlin' Chug Bugs down your way one morning. Just looking for the water to clear up and the winds to lay down. Tight lines!!!

You can catch just about anything on a Rattle Trap, and this proves it.
