Another good trip 8-16

Had another great day on the water. Had my pops today to catch a few. Ended day at 11:30 with 16. Had 2-4lbs,3-3lbs rest were pound an a half to two pounds. All on swim bait. We using his tin rig till my boat is finished. Can't wait.

Very nice. What general area y’all fishing. Just shot probably last coats on ole Johnson 50 gonna let paint cure overnight then lightly wet sand with 1000 grit and clear coat after applying new decals. Tried for reds in Lady P but keep getting W winds plus had huge bass tourney outta Main St Launch in Lacombe.

Out of raceland ,Des allemands Lockport bayou black We fish the local lakes and canals in the general area. Bounce around and try different areas. Thank the good Lord for all the great trips he's been blessing me with. All I can say is it's a grind to have a good catch. Have to cover alot of water.
That's good. You should have her ready to go very soon. I like to fun fish but I keep saying if I was fishing a tournament I'd be doing good an the day I would enter I wouldn't do good at all. That's how luck goes. Good luck to you,going to get on them fish like you did the other day.

Funny thing is EVERYBODY I talk to and show them pics of de T-Funky chunks say the T-Funk a hard place to fish.I usually have little trouble locating a few lunkers and my personal best,5.02,has come from the T-Funk.We just got serious winds on NShore and I grabbed motor cover and pan and got em under very sturdy,Katrina-survival boat shed I built probably about 18 years ago,hurricane clips,etc.Waiting on hub for prop and tomorrow might lightly sand entire motor,shoot clear coat and be done with de paint job,been labor of love and new decals gonna look mighty-fine!!The other neat thing is I have NOT been covering lotta water on T-Funky,been pirogue fishing and found absolute gem of a spot that ALWAYS has produced at least a fine sac or two and right next to fish magnet been bass magnet!!!

They got biguns everywhere you have to be the skilled one to figure them out an trick them to bite. I see from you're post you do a great job at catching you're share of nice ones. That's the difference between a fisherman and a rod holder.

Yep you right. I always use artificial no matter what fresh or salt. Makes you a better fisherman even if you bust on the bad days.\r\n\r\nThis is my P.B here local. Right at 7lbs I caught 2 years ago. She was very skinny caught right after spawn would of liked to see what she would of weighed filled out My true PB is an 8.4 but I caught that one on lake fork in Texas. A 5.2 is a hefty one for the area. You going to get more of them big girls.
