Morgan City Storm Surge

Does anybody know what the surge was for the Verret/Bayou Black area? I can imagine it was not even close to the 8 foot prediction. Fishing was getting good and I would hate to see a big fish kill there.

I live in bayou black and the water didn't get high at all. No worse than the spring levels the pass few years.

Awesome, thanks. I understand it is trivial compared to what some have lost, but I was hoping the surge would be minimal. Fishing was just really recovering in this area.

I'm close to cannons boat landing in bayou black an I was surprised that it didn't get worse than what it did. I'm glad. Yes alot have lost everything to the storm. I've been hearing some reports here an there about the bite getting better. I've been going other places past few months due to slow to no bite around here. Made the move an it's been paying off for me. Good luck. Hope you get em.
