Fishing the marsh around Grand Isle

Reply
sunday 18-20 Left the house at 8am to go work on our duck blind around the Grand Isle marsh , couldn't leave the fishing lines behind, caught a good and quick mess of fish after building the duck blind. All before 12pm, the trout or in the marsh but still a bit spread out. Again all caught on plastic tight line and under 4 horseman cork.

speckle_searcher,Nice looking soft plastic ya got there-yep got good feeling specks deep in marsh based upon my latest trip to NShore Marsh.Bet de water where yall nabbed those fine fish was extremely salty-Lake P is about as salty as I can ever recall and seeing plenty of not only sting rays but also spooking plenty of nice sheepshead aint a bad sign!!!Got deer food plots to contend with this week or I might be chasing some specks and reds and possibly lure-chasing sheepshead-de Wiz turned me onto wake baits and lost a good wake bait compliments of big azz sheepshead!!Water out in Lake P about as fine as Key West water!!
