After checking weather forecast last night , stating chance of coastal flooding , I figured l’ll take a gamble, got down too the launch had a few boats all ready launched , so why not , heading out too the lake area I made a few casts nada so headed too a spot I knew that had trout before , today was a catch and release day , didn’t keep track but know I caught more than 20 trout before one decided to sling hooks back at me got me in da finger but wasn’t that bad , boy that point hit bone it lite me up , still was a great day to be back out on da water. 🧙♂️🎣
