De Nuck and Futz Duo Pre Thanksgiving Hunt 11 25 2020

De Nuck and Futz Duo had intentions of possibly intercepting some teal and possibly a few big ducks and he had de hot hand today,nabbing a fine haul of five ducks and I struggled to even get a chance at a few teal,cashing in on exactly one to break a scratch.Saw more mottled ducks today,possibly will get a chance at one each tomorrow and ole Nuck capitalized on fine drake dat I spotted from a ways off,hit him with some mallard music and watched this fine drake veer right towards him,even texted him complimenting him on not only de shot but also de quality duck!!!Happy Turkey Day to all-headed to Academy to pick up nice blind bag I saw at the Hammond store,shoulda picked up dat fine bag earlier this week!!!Hope springs eternal and we each spooked up quite a few mottled ducks this am,hope one each gets un-wary and hits de spreads!!!

Glad to see you guys continuing your success from teal season. It was tough to read your post from last season when futility was the norm on most hunts. Hope to get the Nuck and Futz duo back up to my place in Arkansas soon. If the positive results continue for you guys, I may have to come hunt with the Duo! Been slow up here in Arkansas so far in my area for opening week. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Louisiana Sportsmen and women out there!

When dem ducks slow down, youse guys need to come deer hunting with a few hogs thrown in for good measure!!!!!

Good hunt Mandi, particularly with this morning’s weather. Love them Mottled Ducks. It was tough in the Parish this morning, but we got a few. Happy Thanksgiving!

John,Nick and I spooked plenty of mottled ducks yesterday and thought we might each cash in on relatively thick population of residents today but not to be!!Did have pair actually respond to my ATT call(DC Countdown in polycarbonate)but once they saw the spread I have been using,they veered off just about 10 yards outta decent killing range!!GB3,Might need to get ya out there in duck marshes!!!Not lotta big ducks but de way each of us blind up,makes for mostly easy shots!!!
