Wanted to go shoot some nutria, but the high tides didn't help, so we rabbit hunted.

My dog ran the rabbits non-stop all morning. She was definitely exhausted after since passed out the whole way home.

My dad and I accidentally only brought one shotgun so we didn't shoot as many as we could have, but we had a blast anyhow.
My beagle kept giving us a look like, ''i'm doing my job... what are yall doing?' after we missed on a few rabbits early. Hopefully we can keep running them the next few weeks.

Heck yeah. Hard to beat a good rabbit hunt. I ran my beagle hard this weekend too.

That hunt was on a lease close to the Atchafalaya Delta. There’s a good population of rabbits in that area.

Honestly, I'm afraid seeing blood but I love hunting. It's just like I don't want to see them after (weird though). Seems you had fun guys. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Amazing! I wanna experience the same thing. There are probably as many reasons to hunt as there are hunters, but the core reason can be reduced to acknowledging our kinship with wildlife. Thank you for sharing. Cheers from | Springfield Decks

Wow! That's a lot! Rabbit meat is quite expensive and i'm so happy to see that you got it for free! You're hunting skill is fantastic. :) Aside from that, it's very healthy meat too compare to chicken meat and pork!

Honestly, I am not in favor to Hunt like this poor little rabit. However, the main reason can be boiled down to accepting our kinship with animals. Abbotsford Handyman
