Decent Trestles Reports 4 26,27 21

Trestles two day report-been having issues with getting reports posted,not sure if on my end or Sportsman end!!Boat parades out at Trestles two consecutive days and judging by the thick specks routinely getting caught by just about all,boat parades gonna increase!!Day one and day two virtual carbon copies of each other,bagging 7 specks and two flounders each day with nice catfish yesterday(fisher apparently had nice blue catfish break off braided line and I snared this line,reeled it in by hand and found nice blue catfish on line)!!Funny story bout yesterday as inconsiderate fisherman HAD to crowd me,forcing domino effect making me encroach upon space of boater S of me and I boat-flipped fat speck,bouncing on deck added to effect and I made a short move S,made exactly one cast,snared braided line with blue catfish on terminal end and boater leaving advised guy had just broken off line!!!Managed to foul-hook fish both days,specks both days,flounder got gigged by Pro-S 3/8 oz jighead today.Blue color,Mackerel in Shaker by Lunker City did de damage,mated to ultra-fine Pro-S jigheads.Need to re-order some dem great soft plastics,aint available locally!!!

Yep,Wiz,Boat parades at Trestles tells de story. Not one to make excuses BUT if ya witnessed the windy Lake conditions BOTH days I fished the Trestles it was quite an accomplishment to nab fish both days. Hard to get great hook-set bouncing around,at least in my relatively light SouthFork. AJ texted me advising Dey headed back from de Dell with nice full(75)speck limits and he complimented me as well knowing how damn rough E Lake P has been last few days. Helped Dane rebuild power trim on his 90 Evinrude now we need to replace both up/down relay switches but now de time to tackle dat. Lawrence Boesch a gem of a mechanic and contacted him after we finished power trim rebuild as trim motor won’t work in up position. Not only did he suggest fix but also told me where and how to replace relays👍Yep,we definitely need to head down to de Dell. Got funeral to attend tomorrow,might run into John C as fellow Abita KC Knight who passed away retired NOPD. Let us know when and we gladly coming ya way🎩🧙‍♂️
