Separation, Please

Reply
Please separate the fishing reports, putting the guides' reports under another title. Most of us can't fish everyday and we enjoy seeing the reports of the individual sport fishermen rather than that of the guides. Nothing wrong with reading the guides' reports and viewing the many pictures, but it would be nice to have them separate from the non-guided reports.

Thank you!

CCAguns : wouldn’t hurt if a individual would just stop with all the How to clean a fish all the time , pretty sure there’s enough videos on YouTube that show every type fish there is to be clean & cooked !

Yep,CCAguns and Wiz,think MOST of us know how to clean and prepare what we catch. Had lotta fun today about the Ms Kitty and got few errands to run before trying to post about the trip he and I made today.

I think the answer is for us 'individual sport fishermen' to just post more reports....that might bump the paid fishermen's reports.

Although, a 'sponsored' report section is not a bad idea. I don't mind seeing the pics. But, how many times do you have to read about all the fish put the bellies of BlueWaves powered by Yamahas, trailered to the ramp on the Sport Trail trailers, pulled with the GMC truck, with non-ethanol fuel bought at Joes Stop-n-Go, caught with Matrix Shad using 4 Horseman corks, on Shimano reels and Berkley rods and 30 pound Seaguar braid. Did I miss any sponsors?

Not to upset and certainly not hating on the paid guys....because after all, you probably are required to mention all those brands in 'X' amount of social media posts to be considered brand ambassadors. I get it. That's just how the system works.

BlueShamu,Ya hit de nail on de head bout as squarely as one could hit it. Stopped watching few certain individual You Tubes due to ridiculous amount of sponsor mentions AND I use virtually NONE of the gear these sponsors shamelessly promote via this individual. I used to have ability to take docs on fine guided trips and know fully well guides are required to use certain sponsors OR lose their lucrative sponsorships????My boat been down or I certainly woulda been fishing much more than MAYBE once per week. Got part hopefully arriving today and if all goes as planned should have my SouthFork back on water pronto. Plan to seek cut bait for upcoming rodeo and should be out and about with CCAguns next week. Water where we fished extremely dirty and hope and pray this Tropical System does not bombard us with too much rain.

I wonder what makes a report a 'Hot Report' and gets it listed on the side of the classifieds?

Also, why aren't the reports in chronological order? Why do I have to scroll down until I find a current thread or the thread I want....buried under posts from 2013? Or, I can go back to look at my comments under my profile. But, if I did not make a comment and just want to see if others have responded to a thread which I have not commented, it becomes a task.
