Sight casting for reds

Reply
Ran out towards Delacroix this morning, tide was just starting to come in no winds to be seen or felt, could see reds chasing bait in the grass shorelines, using a gold spoon and a black plastic H&H cockahoe it was game on , catching 8 reds lost 5 at boat running into grass breaking off , I kept only 1 red for supper letting rest fight another day ???????????

Wiz,Not sure why try #1 disappeared but here goes try#2!!Nice reds and guess the NShore getting way too much rain and freshwater run-off as Lake P looked more like the W Esplanade canal vs what the ole Lake should be looking like!Did take trusty ole chocolate lab with me yesterday and we enjoyed the scenery but got zero bites and should be getting a tad better should we get combo of nice E winds and little to NO rain!!CCAguns and I hope to fish together next Tues and got nice gameplan for upcoming Jesuit Alumni Rodeo next Fri/Sat.Love sight-casting to reds and just about this time a year ago we enjoyed tossing spinnerbaits to bunch of fine and fat reds!!Hope we find some willing reds and hope freshwater fishing likewise features some fine and hefty bass!!!
