Went this morning for a catch and release day , Honey called me saying bring one red home , so I headed too one of my spots , dang bull reds were cutting up chasing mullets I threw spoon and found out what they can do , had reel screaming line peeling off fast , got it close to boat threw hook , turned right around and tossed it right back into the mix only a second and red was screaming line off again , finally got it to side of boat used gaff and liped it , took pic and revived it letting it go have a big shark bite mark on its side, had to leave that spot plum worn out , ended up catching 4 reds lost 3 and a spoon gave one red too , two fellas watching me kept one red for tonight’s supper ???????????

De Nuck and Futz Duo gonna hopefully chase some shoreline reds this Mon(winds and weather permitting)and NE winds today and predicted for Mon are more than ideal for where we gonna start and if same conditions unfold, most likely gonna get Nuck out toone of my favorite reefs, the 24 mile Causeway and dat water out there more than gorgeous, could see lure down to about 4-5 ft!!!Anyone having a notion to wade-fish needs to re-think dat option-did not see any sharks today but spotted at least 4-5 yesterday and tossed Silver Minnow to one but thankfully he declined my offering!!!Teal Season round de corner!!

BlueShamu,Yep just texted my wingman as I am headed to Jackson,MS to visit with younger son starting last year of Law School and gonna make side trip to Bass Pro for Johnson Silver Minnow spoons. Hope Nuck and I nab few grillers hate to fight bulls as we almost always release em and really want few 22-25 in specimens.

I like them 16”-18” varieties. Perfect size for wife and I to grill or bake.
