Texas Crew Battle the High Winds

Reply
Tough conditions today for my Texas crew on their second day fishing with us. Winds were blowing 25 mph when we left the dock and got up to 30, it was brutal out there! We took deep to the marsh to try and hide as much as possible, but there was no hiding. My guys slowly put a mess together of reds and puppy drum, then things slowed down. We started moving around and found some diving birds (couldn’t believe it). With the 30 mph winds and the raging falling tide, there was no way I could keep up with the school. We hooked 3 trout and only one made it to the box. We tried several other holes where the reds usually school up, but had no luck. We beat some banks, dropped some crabs, then called it a day. Good time with these guys and look forward to their return.
