Finally got me a chance to fish Lady P Report 3 16 22

Gotta lotta folks dat mistakenly thought I was fishing every day dat ends in 'Y' but wish dat was de case!!Finally coordinated with an Abita KC buddy to chase some fish in one of my favorite spots on NShore and he was surprised dat we gotta fill out little card to put on windshield of vehicles PLUS pay fee of $3.00 if one is below the age of 62!!Lucky for us,we both ole Fotz!!Had great time and managed to nab a brute of a red,first fish,plus a 15 in speck and few nice and fat blue catfish and decent bass and my fishing podna caught very fine blue catfish(donated to my cause!!),all fish fell to Berkley Gulp,Swimming Mullet,Chartreuse color on 3/8 oz jigheads.Tasted de water and sure enough,there is decent salinity to the water,thanks to most likely Ida,and hope and pray de Spillway does NOT get opened this Spring!!!Saw a few other fishers,none reported catching a thing,guess we hit de spot at right time,with right bait.First fish was a brute,probably 36 in red,estimated his weight at over 15 lbs!!!Great time,great company!!

Thanks Guys. Yep did indeed foul hook decent blue catfish. Wifey got me fine Rapala Lithium cordless filet knife. Great addition to my collection of fish filet knifes and had every intention of heading to T-Funky this am,had alarm set for 5 am but slept in. Getting last few interior frame members put into inside of 10 by 12 Harbor Freight greenhouse and perfect timing as got chance of stormy weather tomorrow and also this evening. Gonna be very fine greenhouse especially after running electric line to it as well as older son’s shed. Next project for us BUT T-Funky a-calling me. The bass fulla eggs and bait galore!

Wifey did me huge favor this past Christmas and got me fine cordless Rapala fish filet knife and dat baby allowed me to clean dat catch pronto!!We took a nice guided trip on White River this past September and caught a ton of rainbow trout and our guide had this exact knife,cleaned up our catch pronto.Hope to weather the nasty weather today and possibly get back out fishing soon!!
