Slamming the Trout

Went towards Delacroix this morning top water, wake baits and soft plastic day , 25 trout then catch & release time today

Wiz,Too bad de fish Nick and I chased today had NO intentions of attacking the soft plastics we tossed. We tried numerous spots in the Lake Borgne and ICW area to no avail BUT I can report that my new Moyir Guide X3 digital trolling motor is a lil beast. Nice haul probably taking a break from fishing most of this week due to predicted rainy conditions.

Wiz,Meant to tell ya dat Nick and I were slowly making our way back to Chef Harbor Marina today and we were slowly trolling towards Marquez Canal and I saw bunch of tiny minnows getting chased by thick speck,tossed soft plastic exactly where this speck was prowling and NADA!!!Water pretty much everywhere we fished,except one long and deep bayou,was nowhere near 'fish-friendly'
