Kudos to Sportsman's Warehouse-On Line Order

Gotta give credit where credit is due and the fine folks at Sportsman's Warehouse(on-line)did the right thing.I had placed an order for a MotorGuide X3 digital Salt Water trolling motor(55lb thrust),got the trolling motor delivered last week and unfortunately was not home when the box containing the trolling motor was delivered.The box looked like it had been damaged,possibly in shipment,and the original box looked to be intact and when I carefully unpacked the trolling motor I noticed two items missing,the prop pin(somewhat important)and the Velcro strap was likewise missing.I did mount the trolling motor on my flat,contacted Sportsman's and here is where the fun began!!Customer Service suggested I package up the MotorGuide,send it back for replacement or try to escalate issue,which I did and my suggestion was for them to issue store credit for the cost of replacement items.Next I did my best,per their suggestion,to contact Mercury Marine,useless as can be,and they suggested I contact Sportsman's.The best solution was what we did-Wifey ordered spare set of pins and prop nut and Velcro strap from TrollingMotorParts.Com(excellent vendor)and I did get e-mail from Customer Service-they wanted a copy of the itemized bill from and I sent them that and just a few days ago got e-mail confirmation that $27.99(amount for pins and Velcro strap)had been credited to my credit card!!!Guess the squeaky wheel got the grease and I did contact a local trolling motor repair company(useless proposition)and all I received was attitude!!!Guess some folks CAN'T stand decent competition!!!All's well that ends well!!!Trolling motor is lil beast!!

P.S. Older son was taking box to fire pile and found pin so now I have a few spares!!!Did not find Velcro strap.
