Greenwing Teal Mount

Just got this one back from Dee Dee over the weekend. It's my favorite duck mount to date.

A guy named Dee Dee in Lafitte did the teal mount for me. He does all of my mounts. He does the best work I ever seen.

Hate to bust your bubble but you need to see the 2 Kevin's of La. work. Kevin Brocato in Shreveport and Kevin Hynes of Slidell are the best.

Just remeber fellas just because the prices are good doesn't always mean the work is. I'm familiar with Dee Dee's work as well as Kevin Hynes. Dee Dee mounts a nice duck, but in my opinion Kevin Hynes mounts the best looking duck around.

Hi guys, I am a professional taxidermist here in Louisiana (I have the ribbons and awards to prove it) lol
Even though I am a professional waterfowl taxidermist, I do not claim to be the best in Louisiana by far. However, IMO the very best taxidermist in Louisiana is a man named David Luke out of Metarie or Breaux Bridge. He has two shops. He is world-renowned and a world-champion.
Also, there is a younger man named Coty Bellinger in Lafitte that I also an extremely talented and award winning taxidermist. He also happens to be one of David Luke's students.
The one thing to remember is that like most things, in taxidermy, for the most part, you get what you pay for.
This is just my 2 cents from a professional taxidermist in and around the industry. :)

i don't disagree i have seen there work and its excellent. my point is Dee Dee's is right there with them and his prices are half. Can't beat that

He's the best to me, Dee Dee also has the ribbons and awards to show that he's a professional taxidermist check them out in his shop. He sure does get a lot of work from different people throughout the country for someone that does average work. I seen his work right next to other taxidermy and the other taxidermy work doesn't compare to the quality of his work. If anybody needs his number e-mail me and I will be sure to give to you.

I am by no means putting down this man's work. In fact, I really like the action he gave the drake. The female has a few issues, but the bird may have been shot up or something. Teal are some of the hardest little birds to mount.
I was just giving my opinion on who I thought was the best around. I never meant to start an arguement.
