Did you spear him in the lake itself? I caught an Opelousas almost identical to that one on a red shad worm last time I fished the rice field canals out of Madisonville. Congrats.

You still spearfishing around that shoreline with all the stumps at manchac? I saw you out there several times last year.. I am dying to try spearfishing. I was going to buy some gear but I keep putting it off.. I started bowfishing (night) last summer, and did really good with the catfish last year, but this year, I cant seem to find them. I'm even having trouble finding the carp, and lastyear, they were everywhere! I dont know what the deal is.
