Stoeger shotguns are a division of Beretta in Italy and are primarily made in Italy, but mass produced as a less expensive shotgun. Some parts are made or some assembly is contracted to oher European countries. The difference is in the mass production such as a machine that bores 10 barrels at once instead of one, or each barrel inspected for bends instead of one barrel in 100 inspected, etc. Also part of the Beretta family are Benelli & Franchi. Even though the Stoeger is mass produced it's done in Europe where quality is still respected.
