Rage broadheads

Has anyone tried the rage broadheads? If so how did they work? Which one did you use the 2 blade or 3 blade.

I tried the 2-blade Rage last season and it performed great on 3 different animals last year, including one hog that didn't have much penetration because of the tough plate. Even so, there was plenty of blood and a short track, because of the large entrance wound. I had the exact opposite results with the G5 Tekan II earlier in the season.

Heard the 2 blades are good. I bought the 3 blades and hate them. Look up a broadhead test post I did last summer on here. The rage was the worse. So I didn't use it for deer hunting, but a hog hunt came up and I shot 2 of them with the rage. Small entrance and exit wounds, little blood, 100-150 yrds of tracking. Shot the 3rd one with a splifire and blood every where for about 50 yrds. Big entrance and exit wounds. Also had a buddy on the same hunt use a G5 Tekan and it was poor as well.

There was a recall on the 3 blade rage, but I had the good ones not the recalled ones.

I had the same problem with the Tekan II. I have been looking for a good mechanical broadhead. I heard that the spitfire broadheads were good.

I shot a huge pig eariler this year in texas using the 2 blade rage broadhead. Good entrance wound.. and good blood.. made for an easy track... I posted pictures on this site.. you can look back through my postings.. Will be shooting them this year for deer. They fly great... Highly recommend..

For the past 4 years I've hunted at Willow Point and until this year they have never allowed mechanical broadheads. Well, just got a letter in and they will allow 2 & 3 blade Rage, Rocky mechanicals and Synper. I personally don't use any of them to know their effectiveness, I use Spitfires everywhere but Willow Point. I definately won't speculate as to why Willow Point and Tara is allowing these select few, just posted for your information gathering process.
