Me Too
I would like to know also. Our deer stands get loaded with them. They climb in your clothes, down your gun barrel and everywhere else. So far, the record for lady bug's smashed in one afternoon is 1734.

If you kill a mosquito, leave it where a lady bug can get to it, they will eat it. Pretty interesting to watch, especially when the deer are not moving.

eat mosqitoes
Man if they eat mosquitoes let them be. Just kidding, We get those Pretty bad also. We usually set bug bombs off in the camp before we leave and they usually aren't as bad.

Spray
Stop at a feed store that sells insecticides and ask for a bottle of Talstar P. Spray it all around your camp, in the camp everywhere. It is even rated to spray in foodservice areas and has little or no odor. Basically the same stuff exterminators use.

Leave Them Pretty Little Things Be
They're pretty beneficial insects. Do what I do. Just leave a wisk broom in your stand and sweep them out. No big deal.

leave them
Lady bugs eat many smaller insects. I wouldnt kill them, Id continue to clean them out, seal your stand and camp a little better or collect them in a jug and sell them on ebay.

Save the Ladybugs
Save the Ladybugs? You guys are joking right? 1st, they're not a native species and are actually Asian Lady Beetles. You've must not seen 'em when they come through by the Billions in my area. Can't eat in the camper...can't sleep...have to run in/out fast...Talstar 1 will kill them all this year.

Cedar Chips
In Tensas, we used bags of cedar chips inside of our campers and box stands. This seemed to work pretty good. You will still get a few, and I can promise you wouln't harm the population!
