Owl with It's Kill!

Reply

I was walking out the woods last night after a hunt and came across a rabbit dead in the road with no head! I wondered what had left its kill behind? I made the hike back and setup a SG-6000 on the rabbit kill. This morning I checked the cam and was surprised to see this fellow!

When I used to run traps I had a rabbit in a trap with it`s head missing. I didn`t know what did it. So, I set the trap back, sprinkled some blood all around it and tossed the rabbit in the creek. When I came back the next morning I had a great horned owl in the trap. I dont know if they love rabbit brains or just making sure it does not run off while they are gone. possum

I may have to get the 6000 when I buy my next one. And you know how much I like the IR so other hunters can not see the flash. Great picture and them bobcats love to take pictures. LOL
