Capt Moore Fish with the King

FUN FUN FUN!!!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with T dock his brother Charles and wives Debbie and Mary. We started off in stump lagoon muscle bay area. They had fish in the area but lots of throwbacks. When you are catching a lot of throwbacks keep moving. Do not waste your bait on small fish. Decided to fish further into the Biloxi marsh. We fished an area that I have not fished in a while. The first stop we started to put fish in the boat. Made a couple of moves and got into a real fast trout bite. The only problem lots of throw backs. We switched over to plastic and started to catch some keepers. The smaller fish would bounce off the baits until a keeper would find it. Made another move and got into a good trout bite with all keepers until the porpoises crashed the party. It was load and shoot for 1 hour. Charlie and t dock are good fisherman and we had a nice box of fish going. When the tide turned around and started to come in we finished off their limit. We ended the day with 100 speckled trout and 2 sheepshead. We had lots of wind today. The water was pretty every where we went. Tide is falling until mid day and rising hard in the after noon. All the fish were caught on Campos live shrimp some with a cork others tight lined. A fun group a good time was had by all. Tomorrow looks iffy at best. We are going to look at it in the morning and let you know what we decide to do. Fishing remains real god in the Biloxi marsh. So is our special. What a fantastic haul! The prices are more than reasonable too, especially considering that they'll clean the fish after you catch them. Since we don't have a boat we usually fish dockside, after we finish the dock repairs.
