Monster Bass in Mandeville

So they say you can't catch big bass in Mandeville Well, check out what a 13 year old can catch with a spinning reel and a purple worm . This monster weighed in at 11 lbs 5 oz. and was caught by Cole Landry in a Mandeville neighborhood pond.

I don't know , the scale on the shoreline and the scale at the taxidermist said just about the same thing ... I guess that all you critics are experts that can weigh fish by a picture ... this boy has a trophy that many of you will never see in your life ... let it be !!

Really nice fish. When the smack talk is done, you'll still be looking at that huge bass and remember what it was like to lift it out of the water. Savor the moment and shout it to the world. It's a bass of a lifetime.

Since ya got it at the taxadermist , What are the length and girth measurments on that hawg ????

To all naysayers.... The bass was just under 26 inches. You do the math and figure it out. Thanks to all for the congratulatory remarks.

I caught a bass that was 25.5 inches long and weight 9lbs 4oz. It looked way bigger than that 6 pounder you caught. Still nice but no way.

he may be close to 11 if he was just under 26. mine the other day was 21" long and a lil over 15" girth, it weighed 5lbs 5 oz

WOW, if i could ever click on a picture of a really nice fish and read good posts of congrats and kudos i dont know what i would do... Instead you have the GENIUS, EXPERT, ALWAYS RIGHT , and KNOW-IT-ALL "fishermen" like : deerslayer, LaAngler, Dustin, Bud, and Troutslayer who always have to chip in their witty and controversial two-cents. I dont think anyone who reads these posts has any respect for you. Were you there when kid weighed the fish? NO. Then how would you know? And what burns me up more than anything is THIS IS A 13 YEAR OLD KID!! I can only imagine how he feels to see *ss*oles like you guys knocking the trophy fish he caught. that is a great fish for anyone! And whoever said tha fish is only 5-6 lbs is a reject. They are jealous they havent landed one like that yet. Everyone knows that some big fish, when a picture is taken doesnt always do that fish justice.

She must of ate a few 2 lbs weights prior to catch
