Bowhunter wanted

I am a aspiring bowhunter living in Lafayette. Looking for someone to share expenses with mainly gas, hunting within an hour of Lafayette.I work a 7&7 schedule and make a couple of hunts while Im in. It would be a big relief to share some gas expense.

Where do you hunt.......Lease of Public land? What parish?

Yea, where do you hunt? Starting to bowhunt this year also. I also live in Lafayette.

I hunt public land. I'll go to Thiselwaite(check that), Sherbbure, and Spring Bayou. Last year I made trips back and forth from home but this year Im thinking about making a couple afternoon hunts, camp out a night and another hunt in morning. I just got motivated again last week at home and started shooin my bow in the back yard.

I'll have a camp five minutes from Sherburne (north side) by Oct. 1. May hook up during the year.

Just an fyi it's Thistlethwaite. The only way I know that is my best friend is in the family that owns the WMA.
