Does anyone know what happened to the Bohemia land in plaquemines parish? Does the state still own it? Can you still hunt the land or does it belong to a private owner? There was some decent hunting there. Does anyone know anything about it or where can i go to find out who owns it and if you can hunt it? Any info would be appreciated.

Go to the Plaqumines parish governmental bldg. off of Hwy 23 in Belle Chase and buy a map from them. It should have the info. you need

nobody owns the land its first come first serve i been hunting lower plaquemines my hold life most of its locals

the state does not still own it nobody realy says anything about hunting it but it is private my friends family owns a big piece but they dont even fool with it but yes it is private property

dont just go hunt down there on someone elses word before you check into it...its private, hey manalla you wanna see my tax papers!

It is private property. Dont let the lady catch you that now owns like half of it. Wildlife now patrol since the river washed out and ive seen plenty get tickets. I am employed at the oil company there and see it all the time.they want written permission from the land owner with a contact number for the land owner and it has to be notarized. Thats what the particular agents want and youll have no problem. Anyone who doesnt have it usually eits up with some sort of ticket. I used to hunt it but the wildlife said we can only hunt here at the oil company which is owned ny the company. But company rules state no firearms on the property so thats messes that up.. Fml.. All this land and it cannot be hunted!

All is privately owned again. The guys we lease from are very serious about the property. Signed contracts, proof of liability insurance and tickets for anyone caught trespassing.
