I am looking for a Public Boat Launch in Port Sulphur.

Is there one behind the High School?

Or is it located somewhere else?

Thanks for insight.

Looking to try Lake Washington Area for Speckled Trout.

Just type LouisianaMAP in your address bar and you can search all the boat launches. Hope this helps, Kirk

There is a small backdown behind the hospital down the street from the sheriffs office. Turn beside the 'Happy Land' food store across from the Subway shop.

Nothing there but a dirt backdown and not a real secure area so plan accordingly.

there is a backdown ramp with access to Lake Washington.it's next to a fenced off area that has a gate and belongs to Port Sulphur Boat Club. I've fished there many years and didn't realize that it was Private land!I'm interested in learning How to get a key for the Gate. Anyone have any good ideas about how to!Thanks
