H & R Handi Rifle in 45/70

Anyone out there that has an H&R Handi Rifle- how much did you pay for the gun only-and where did you get it?
Bought the Buffalo Classic last Sept., hunted with it this season and have decided I want the Handi Rifle instead. Looking for a fair price to put on my Buffalo Classic, and would like to know what a Handi Rifle costs new.

Try Puglia's. They had the wood stock/forearm for $198 and the synthetic for $238 on sale last week.

Bought my H & R Handi Rifle two years ago from Puglias on Veterans Highway in Metairie, LA. Short Barrel with wood stock. Two years ago just the gun was 198.00. Put a Nikon Buckmaster 3 X 9 X 50 mm scope on it for 300.00 more.
Great little combo to hunt deer with.

dont remember the exact price i think 230 or 250 found the best price at academy i priced at hebert guns, dicks, jims, cabelas, and bass pro and academy was the best that on the sythetic stock not sure on the wood stock

You are right, Academy has them for $229 everyday price. BassPro has them for $279 and have 100 in stock- go figure?
And of course, Cabelas gun counter phone would not get answered (again) so I do not know thier price.

Picked one up (Handi-Rifle in 45/70) at Academy this morning.
