Thought I would post this to make sure a replacement is necessary. My boat recently started leaking pretty significantly. It's a fiberglass bass boat fyi... The first thing I did was put the plug in and put some water in it to find the leak. I noticed water was trickling out of my aerator, not around the thru-hull inlet. It was coming thru the actual inlet. I've had the boat for three years and the pump doesn't too look bad. My first thought is to just replace the pump. I think it's the mayfair brand that bass pro carries, not expensive. Just thought I would see if anyone has had an issue like this. Thanks for any advice.
