Louisiana Sportsmen Show Help

Guys need help with a company who was at this past weekends Sportsmen Show at Lamar. They were in the fishing building and they always have the ice chest full of fish.

I am looking for the Name of the company of baits they had in there booth. I thought it was Fury but I can not find anything on them. They had a dye you dip your baits in and I wanted to get some and forgot so I am trying to find where to buy it.

Appreciate the help in advance

as one of the memeber of the hybrids team, i would like to say wow just a few years ago there wasnt much talk of these baits but now we cant keep enough of them lol that is a hybrid flury minnow made by ron adams of edge fishing in california lol i regularly throw them as well as close friends chas champagne, terry googins, and kerry audibert all team hybrid guys from slidell u can find them at walmart chags or any local tackle shop my favorite color is magic minnow with a chart tail but they all work well nice to see that you saw the light,, and yes by the way the fish at the show were caught the day of the show in lake ponchatrian no gimmick its for real

Dye
They have tail dye at Puglia's in Metairie, several colors and scents in stock.

The best
Been using them in G.I. for 2 years. the same color you have there, Avacado red (I think) have WAY more action than H&H "Hoes". Just my .02 cents but best bait on the water. the only downfall is 6 trout and its done. because of soft plastic. Also get some chartruse (spell) dye and dip the tail.

Hybrids
The magic minnow, key lime, shrimp and seafood are the best, I have found. When water clarity is real good, the key lime and magic minnow are awesome.

They are worth a try.

I have also fished GI in June with the key lime, outstanding.

gel on hybrids...
hey man a little help on the dip... the dip I use is called spike it.. academy usually has it if they dont then i promise bass pro has it. I usually use the chartruse but my buddy chas uses the red as well as chartruse.. i dont know what kind of boat u have but i have a few tips on the dye process...
1. i usually dip me a few the night before i go fish just to have a few baits ready
2. if u have a white fiberglass boat, be careful to not drip it on the deck cuz it will stain the boat in a hurry. extremely hard to get up.
3. when i dip the magic minnow or shrimp color baits usually once dip works great but if i dip like the avacado or darker color baits i dip them twice so the dye shows up a little better hope this helps --if u have any questions u can email me ill try to get some dye out to u thanks

hey duck here u go!!
here is a pic of the dye that i use as well as the rest of the hybrid guys it comes in several colors it aslo comes in a spray but the liquid that is shown in pic that i just posted is so easy to dip the tail of your hybrid

dye
That spike it company makes markers too that you can use to color plastics...It worked surprisingly well and I bought a pack of the markers after just using them once. It's a lot easier than that dip, and you can just pull out a plastic, color whatever you want on it, and it doesn't wash off after a few casts.

doyou guys use the scented or plain?
i have been doing some colors on different baits with the unscented, didn't know any better

scented or non scented.....
i usually buy the scented dye because it is what i normally see on the shelf,, speckled trout are visual feeders i havent seen any difference on weather or not a scented bait catches more trout vs. non scented the trout really dont seem to care what it smells like they'll hit either one
