Nice Mess off of the River this Morning

Went out for a short spell this morning up North of Holbrook Park and scored a nice mess for the freezer. 6 Bass and 8 white perch in 3 hours.

Do you know how to catch and release???? This kind of stuff makes me mad. Many people complain about how there arent very many big bass in the river.... Well no wonder!!! People like you always keep them, IF THEY HAVE EGGS, FREAKIN THROW THEM BACK.... And i know there isnt a lenghth limet, BUT IF YOUR GOINGN TO KEEP THEM, KEEP THE SMALLER ONES

That's funny about the catch and release of the "BIG" bass. The biggest one in there might push 2 pounds. Nice mess of fish That_just.

Austin one day when u grow up, you will understand that this man has the right to do as he pleases if he is inside the law. Just cause u don't WANT him to keep those fish is irrelevant.

U may not have to but adults have to pay for their trips so unless you can feed your family sometimes it gets expensive.

Its just something to think about that you don't have the right to tell people what they can and can't keep. That's what they set rules for

Seriously, the catch and release comments are an old topic. Save your breath and typing for somewhere else. Also, which fish are you referring to that are full of eggs? I don't have the best vision but don't see any myself, if so Calcasieu River must have the late delayed spawn.

I'm still trying to locate the big one Austin was talking about in that ice chest. The biggest I see might be about 3 pounds maybe. Catch and release comments are getting old, especially when there is no need for it.
Anyway, nice catch man keep it up, and don't release any.
