Need help choosing a rod!!

I am looking to buy a new rod and reel, and I am having a little trouble deciding on which rod to go with! It is down to two different rods! The American Rodsmiths H3 Titanium Ultra Series or E21's 21 Carrot Gold Carrot Stick? What do you think? Any help is appreciated!!

Rod Choice
Check out this website, "www.acadiasports.com" they build a premium rod with a lifetime guarentee. Right now, they offer their F series rod for $65.00. Buy one, get one free! I own four of these rods and love em! They also make a reel, but I have not tried one yet. I plan on replacing all of my rods with theirs! Gotta check them out, Charles D.

Acadia rods
I second the acadia rods. I have a friend who has two that he brought last year for 50 dollars. Alongside his falcon lowriders, you can barely detect the differences. We are thinking about ordering acouple more.

have not tried the acadia rods and will, but it would be hard to imagine beating the challenger marsh masters for the money, (gus can get em).

Custom Rod
I say get a custom rod. I got one made from Kenny at Coastal Tackle and I love it. Probably will never pick up my Falcon again. A couple guys I fish with got some and they swear by them.

i have a bunch of falcons gathering dust because of my 7' carrot stick and my gloomis greenwater. the carrot stick and the gloomis are very similar in weight and action. and the carrot stick is half the price of a gloomis.

Texas Tackle Factory
I have falcon's, All Star's St. Croix's, Shimano's and a few more, but a year ago I was turned to to Texas Tackle Factory Rods and absolutly love them now have 4 and haven't picked up my other rods this year If you are looking to trout/redfish the 7-6 Medium and Medium Lights are fantastic. they have extremly sensitive tips with strong backs

They carry a select few at academy but I order mine online. http://www.texastacklefactory.com

Which Rod?
Get a custom made rod on either a GLoomis or St.Croix blank. Make sure to request locking wraps on guides. If they don't know what your talking, then go somewhere else. This way you will get exectly what you want, and have a rod for a lifetime. You wont regret it.

Made My Decision
I went to the Bass Pro in Denham to take a look at the high end rods. I didn't even look at the GLoomis rods bc they are double the price and definitely not double the quality of some much cheaper rods. I really wanted the American Rodsmith H3 Titanium Ultra bc it comes with a 92 million modulus blank and uses the titanium recoil quides (very similar to my Johnny Morris Elite), but they did not carry the rod in the store and I hate to order something I can't put my hands on first. So I broke it down to three rods; the shimano cumara, st. croix legend tournament, and the 21 Carrot Gold Stix. After spending about an hour looking at the rods I went with the 21 Carrot Gold Stix 6'10" MH. I paired it with a Johnny Morris Gold Series.

i think you made the right decision, many of those who responded were thinking saltwater not bass. the feel of the carrot stick is every bit as sensitive as a gloomis. i can feel fish as they swim by the lure with mine.
