Delacroix Report:

The excellent fishing contiunues out of Delacroix. We hit a reef in the bay early and were catching trout before the sun came up. The trout were hungry for live shrimp carolina rigged and fished 2' under corks. The live bait outfished the artificial cocahoes today. We were fishing in 10 feet of water and catching trout up to 22" on top and bottom at the same time. The reef was just swarming with trout. We finished with the trout and headed back to the marsh to chase reds. We hit the windward side of an island and got into redfish, black drum, sheepshead and flounder. A real mixed bag. The thunder bumpers started to build up so we headed back to the dock and barely made it in before the skies opened up. A good day on the water! The tides look good for the rest of the weekend and the weather should allow for some fishing time in the AM before the chances of rain increase in the PM. Good luck out there!
