would have expected there to be a few in the area with the [ast few hurricanes but not that many. might be fun throwing a spinnerbait around the trees in the lake itself.
redfish in lake polurde, you got to be just kidding? i wonder about grassy lake and lake verette? great mess of fish!! ya'll sure must have been surprised when ya'll hooked that first one!! if theres redfish in the lake, i wonder about sharks???
Big ri ,, read the fishing phamplet ,, when fishing from a car/truck from side of road it is legal to have 1 limit plus possion limit that equals 10 reds per licensed fisherman/woman... good fishing guys,,
if you believe these guys you need to try out in the middle. the water goes from 10' to 3' its called the slump.
i caught 5 yellow fin there this past weekend.
Every summer when the Atchafalaya River level drops they catch reds in the lake. Try the PHI rocks, the rocks near Lake end park and along LA 70. You would be surprised what you can catch when you get off of the computer and actually try fishing.
went to the rocks by phi today, not one redfish to my surprise!! but i did catch an 8ft. mako, 6 red snapper, 3 cobias and 150lb. swordfish!! the tarpon got away!!!!
