Delacroix Report:

Several thundershowers around Delacroix this morning. Reminded my guests not to forget the rain gear and we headed out. Stopped short to avoid running into one of the rain cells and fished a deep canal adjacent to an interior lake. The trout were eating up live shrimp carolina rigged. Trout 12-17" with many throwbacks mixed in. With a storm rapidly approaching, we had the choice to run around or donn rain gear and tough it out. We stuck it out and fished in the rain for about 15 minutes. We kept catching fish too! Once the rains cleared, nothing threatened again until we were done and cleaning up at the dock. It looks like the transition from outside to inside has begun. It is nice to be able to get on numbers of fish and only burn 6 gallons of gas! It should only get better from this point. Good luck out there this week!
