A friend had a high dollar lab named "My Wife's Mercedes", another friend's puppy got switched in Dallas, he got a female instead of a male, and a guy in Houston got the male. They met in Lufkin and swapped pups. His was named "Lost and Found in a Texas Town". Another good dog name from a dog from Mississippi is "Bored Out Ford Fairlane". Then there were the Navy Commander's dogs Searchlight I, II, and III.

I decided to name my first Yellow Lab "Maximus" while watching Gladiator at the Movies. Kohl is my Black Lab .He is coal black and my Mud Buddy is a Kohler so "Kohl" it is.All women say it's so cute that I named him after a store....I had no idea that one existed until now.

My black female is Southern Bayou Belle II AKA "Belle" for short. Idk whats the deal with the suffix, when I went to register her, thats what they came back with. Guess someone had that name already.

I have a 2 y/o black lab named Bayou Black Jax. Jax for short after the beer brewery. I like the Nagin one! Only thing is I'd be afraid of how stupid he might turn out to be! Last dog I had was a German Shorthair named Woody.

Named my male black lab Trooper after my Grandpaw, who was a retired State Trooper, passed away from cancer. My Grandpaw used to breed black labs when he was younger.

1st lab(yellow) was named "BREWSTER", called him BREW. Got his name as a pup at ther camp when he learned how to knock over beer cans and drink the contents. He was 12 years old when he got bone cancer putting him down was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. 2nd was "ROSCEAUX", he was black as night and the smartest dog I ever had, unfortunatly he crossed the road on nite. At this point I was really stressed and didn't know if I wanted another. Time heals and I now have "DUECE'S WILD",(Duece) him being the 2nd black lab.He's 10 mos. old and doing well. Sorry if that was to long.

I did have a college friend named his Mutt "Stain" Kinda odd though when he would get out and he would have to run around and call him back by yelling "come stain" through campus..
