From bad to worse

Just when I thought nothing could get any worse after getting a late start on preparing for the upcoming hunting season just got by bow fitted and sighted. I dove for an interception at football practice and tore my AC legiment in my shoulder. A perfect way to end my senior year and hunting season. Now ive got rehab to look forward to. What luck.

Get you a crossbow man. have someone load it for you and your good to go.

I destroyed my left arm pole vaulting my junior year in highschool. You might not be able to bow hunt, but it aint quite as hard to shoot a gun one handed as you think it is. You won't be able to hunt like you want, but it shouldn't keep you out of the woods. Fishin is a weeeeeeee bit harder one handed though. Gotta revert back to the ol bamboo stick meathod. Good luck with the rehab and all that crap. It sucks but it works.

BigE19, what did that feel like? Is you shoulder real loose and popping in and out of socket? You getting surgery? I think I have the same thing, going to a specialist next week.

injured my rite sholder n iraq, broke the bone n to 3 pieces and tore everything, 1 month after surgery i was huntin again, but im also ambidextrus so shootin lefty aint really a prob for me. go see an ortho doc and get a letter for a handy capt permit, i know a few other guys that got hurt with me that got them, but practice with an air rifle n the house to get used to shootin lefty, that helped me after surgery
