Finally

After 16 years of deer hunting I finally got one for the wall. I am a die hard hunter who hunts every weekend and ocassionaly on the weekdays. I had one other chance to put one on the wall, but could not connect. (tree got in the way in the basin) This deer was taken in Vernon Parish on our lease. What you think Buknwrite?

Nice buck, congrats

Brew, I hunted for 10 years before I ever shot a buck. The problem is, my first measures 143 B&C & its been 15 years since that I've yet to see one bigger. I've killed my share of good bucks since then but none are bigger. I did kill a big mule deer this year (around 185 inches) but that aint no Louisiana whitetail. Congrats on the kill & I hope you luck is better than mine on killing a bigger one.

I havent been on the site in a while until tonight and when I got to this picture it stood out. It was sent to my phone while I was in Illinois. Congrats on that deer. Love the dark colored horns. Now let your little cousin shoot one. Tell him to stop shooting deer like flip flop. LOL
