to the 2 idiots who were shooting towards us and screaming at us. just to let ur know if ur read this. there was a report made with the police department and the cor of engineers of indain bayou and there were waiting for ur to come out the water . ur lucky i haved changed and this didnt happen 3 years ago as to yall would of had to swim back in to the land. what has the world come to when people get mad cause u are shooting ducks and they arent . so they decide to shoot towards other hunters not a good thing to do i could of had my 5 year old with me then it would of been a totaly different situation.

Very sad to hear. I was in Indian Bayou this morning too, and i didnt kill but one but i for sure didnt shoot at anyone that was killing anything. i would continue to pursue these clowns and make sure they get caught.

Sorry to hear about your experience ranger go getter.

A couple of years ago we were canoeing through some guys setup, going well past him when he started hollering and cussing at us. He was using all of the 4 letter favorites while telling us the regulations (150 yard) minimum....All of this before I could even mouth the words we are going past. And go past we did, about 1.5 miles.

Too bad idiots have to feel it's something they have a "birth-rite" to.I myself would like to know more about this "150 yard" regulation, where it is writting and how "idiots" can measure that amount of distance. To bad you bumped into 2 idiots that probably don't have a full set of teeth between them, and if you count their teeth, that's probably their IQ.

I also hunt Indian Bayou and have been hunting the same area for the last seven years. Sunday my dad and I went out to our ussual spot and found someone had pulled their big ole floating blind and tied it up right in our spot. Now even though they are not supposed to leave a blind setup on Indian Bayou once you leave. I am okay with them having it there as long as they respect us if we get there first. But I am waiting for them to show up and raise hell because they think their blind saves the spot for them. But we have been three times in the last two weeks and no one has shown up. I actually took a picture of the blind the first time we saw it to put it on this site. I wanted the owner know he is not the only one hunting that spot.

Did you get a good look at the guys? Where were you hunting? I saw your comment on another post and you mentioned shooting a good number of mallards. We have never had a day when the big ducks were plentiful. We may see one pair every hunt. Do they tend to fly much later in the day?
