Urban Bass Fishing

Reply
My apartment is on about a 7 acre lake in Baton Rouge, I have been fishing pretty regularly for the past week and haven't gotten a bite. I've tried jigs and worms mostly. Y'all got any tips to catch these urban fish?..TIA

where is this lake? you may do a lil better when it warms up. depending where it is, it may be overfished or may not hardly have any fish. most likely overfished unless its private and secluded

the landlord said the lakes been here a long time and the deepest part is about 40 feet deep. i have been here since june 2009 and have probably seen 4 or 5 people total fishing since i moved here. i have caught a few 3 and 4 pounders but that was last summer

If u looking to just have a good day fishing and put a few filets in the freezer, you could always just go get some shiners and have at it
