Hey guys I'm fishing a tournament at Caney Lake at the end of this month. I'm just trying to get some info on what baits to throw in the water and where? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
fish bed much deeper here ,any dark soft bait u like to use easy to sight fish at times bass can be on beds well over 6 foot deep may favorite area smith branch area slow roll spinner bait near the state park
I tried some swim baits I used in CA and the big bass at Caney love them. Baby bass, & shad colored. I throw a jackswhacker in rainbow trout pattern something about a pink swim bait lures the hogs. But it'll wear you out throwing a 4 oz. swim bait. I have the suspending model that gets down to 20'. Best so far is 12 lbs 4oz at Caney.
Thanks for all the info....just wanted to let y'all know how we did....Saturday my partner and I weighed in a 19lb stringer which included a bass that weighed 7.6lbs and also a 5.6 and we weighed a 14lb stringer with two 4lb fish and two slot fish. We took 1st place! Once again thanks for the information
