Yesterday, me and my brother-n-law (Brad) took his youngest son Brock hunting. We had a bird gobble 5 times before daylight. After daylight there was a hen feeding in the field in front of us. A little later we spot a gobbler. For two hours he stayed between 200 & 300 yards away in full strut. We tried every call our vest to get him to come in....nothing! At 8:15 we decided to SHUT UP! The hen begain to head our way. When she saw the decoys she made a b-line for them. By this time the gobbler had started following her. He came in struting. Then begain to whoop my B-mobel decoy. Brock shot him at 10 yards. He had 11 inch beard, 1 inch spurs, and weighed 21 lbs. Brock is 8 and this was his first turkey. He is ruined for LIFE!!!
