NON SKID PAINT

Reply
I'm looking for recommendations on a non skid (rhino liner type) paint to coat the inside of my aluminum boat with. Any input will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I skinned the inside of my boat w/ alum. looked at many options, but finally used a beige water base exterior from lowes and added the non-slip grit additive. It did take a while to dry, but I painted it in febuary so thats probably why. On the sides I used a beige oil base auto paint with no grit. It looks great and did not cost more than $40.00 for everything....hope this helps

DSPECKSLAYER,
No peeling issues? Did you have to sand the surfaces before applying?

Sorry I did not mention that I did rough the alum. up with my wire wheel. I also put a alum/galv. primer down. Once its dry it sticks really well. Every now and then I shake up the extra paint and touch up the scuff marks, but thats about it...
