An incredible morning of fishing today 'DOWN IN DULARGE'! The bad weather moved out of the area just before daybreak giving us a nice morning to chase the redfish. Fishing for the bronze-backs has been better each day with the higher water levels in the marsh. Today was no exception as we caught over 100 redfish before 11:00a.m.!! I fished with Carlton Johnson, Willert Menard, Sammy 'Birthday Boy' Davidson, and Gil McElroy of Lafayette, La. Capt. Alex helped out running the second boat. His crew consisted of Terry McCarthy, Glenn Snapp, Nils Persson and Jonas Persson. Nils and Jonas were in from Sweden and were treated to a great fishing trip South Louisiana style! Both boats limited out easily bringing in 50 redfish, 11 blackdrum, 12 trout and 3 flounder. Another 50 reds between both boats were released to fight another day! Every fish today was caught on 1 lure**the LSU BAYOU CHUB MINNOW** tightlined on a 1/4oz. jighead. Double and triple hook-ups were common today as the reds simply went wild---eating upAeverything in sight! Both groups enjoyed a great adventure this morning and I know they'll be back for more soon! Good luck fishing. Capt. Bill Lake 985-851-6015 985-637-3712
