This buck has been around my place for over 4 years now. He is summering then leaves around early October never to be seen again till the following year. He is 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 years old and nothing more the a big cow horn spike! I sure hate that he is out there breeding Does! Hope you enjoy the pics

Letumgrow, that’s a big old spike. Definitely needs to be culled. Surprised he hasn’t been seen during hunting dates, disappearing once season starts? Hope you take him out this season!

Well, I finally had the opportunity to put the Gulf Greens in the water. Thought we were going to have a disaster before we ever left the house. Figured it was probably about time to change the batteries in my trolling motor remote control as it seemed to be acting up the last time I used it.…

I tore my Achilles tendon and had some seat time to put together our best shots from 2015 to 2020 during the September special teal season in southeast Louisiana. I hope this gets the juices flowing getting everyone ready for September 11. We will be ready to go, walking boot on the leg and all.

Day 2 with my Arkansas crew didn’t disappoint. We decided to give the trout an hour to check the bite. The bite was slow so we switched gears to bull reds. Took a few stops to find them, but when we did it was hammer time! Everyone had a great time cranking in some beasts! Ty thought his arms…

what happened to mike lane's fishing page??? we are still up at louisiana sportsman, and huntnfish.com are still up. so what gives????
Mike's office is off of Arnoult in Metairie. It's either probably underwater or destroyed. I have placed a couple of calls to see if Mike and Helmut are O.K. Maybe Susan Gros can get in touch with them.

I lost a nice one and was ready to give up on a very windy, cold, slow and shallow water morning. I kept pushing on and was able to land a nice slot.
